    • This transmitter will work on vehicles equipped with Push to Start / Stop button on the dashboard and proxy keyless entry system.

    Only one remote

    I brought a 2018 XT5 and the dealer only had one fob, he said he would allow me to get another one at dealer cost of $251 plus programming. I found this remote for less than $100 and programed it. The remote works great so I'm going to buy another one as a back up.

    Perfect!

    I just purchased a used 18 XT5. There was only one RKE that came with the vehicle. I ordered this device. Arrived in just a couple of days. It takes about ten seconds of interaction over a thirty-minute period to program this RKE. Worked like a charm the first time. When you have one key already, you have to reprogram both the existing and new RKE, but it takes just seconds. Follow the instruction in the manual on page 32 for when you do not have two recognized remotes. For about 70 bucks versus literally over 500 at the dealer, you just cannot go wrong.
