What is a “smart key fob”? It is a transmitter that will work on vehicles equipped with Push to Start / Stop button on the dashboard and keyless ignition system.
What is a “remote head key” or “remote”? It is a transmitter that will work on vehicles equipped with turn-the-key ignition. You must insert the car key into the ignition switch and rotate it to start the engine.
What is a “Logo Included - New” remote? It is a genuine, OEM (original equipment manufacturer) factory key fob with the brand name logo on it. Same as the remote you can purchase at your local dealership.
What isa “Logo Included - Refurbished” remote? It is a key fob in like-new condition. It may have some signs of cosmetic wear and imperfections but is fully operational and functions as intended. It also comes with the brand name logo on it.
What isa “No Logo - Recased” remote? It is a key fob with original OEM board inside of an aftermarket, new case . It comes without the brand name logo on it.
What is a “No Logo - Aftermarket” remote? It is a non-genuine, generic replacement key fob. It is usually less expensive than the original remote. It is in brand new, never used condition, without the brand name logo on it.
Howmany buttons should be on my replacement key fob? It should be identical to your existing remote with the exact same button configuration. Purchasing a remote with more or less buttons than your original key fob may not be compatible with the car's receiver.
