    • This remote must be professionally programmed when received by a local automotive locksmith (click here for Locksmith Search ). We do not recommend going to a dealer, as they may decline programming an aftermarket remote for you. Key blade also needs to be cut.

    • This transmitter will work on vehicles equipped with turn-the-key ignition and standard keyless entry system.

    Received the remote but, I am having difficulty getting a return message from several of the locksmith services on your list in my area. One that did return a call was very expensive, in my opinion. I had read in several reviews to expect to pay $50-$75 to have the key cut and programmed. The price I did receive was $155. I am still searching.

    2019 F150 XLT - new Keys & FOBs worked great!

    I ordered 2 additional keys/fobs from carandtruckremotes.com for $60 each. Took to my local locksmith who cut the groves in the 2 new keys for $27 each. Had some trouble sliding the newly cut keys into the ignition. I took them back to the locksmith with the truck. He did some additional burnishing and made them fit better - work freer. Since I already had the 2 original keys from FORD I was able to self-program the new keys my self. Procedure is on internet. It involves inserting one original key - turn to on position for 3s - turn off. Insert 2nd original key - turn to on for 3s - turn off. Insert new key. Turn to on. Wait about 5s for door locks to lock. Remove key. Was very easy!
