New condition replacement Dodge Chrysler Jeep remote shell with uncut key. No remote or transponder chip included. If your key broke off, or the case is broken, you can simply replace your old case/key on your old remote. Just take the insides out (remote with transponder chip) and put them in this new shell. You then take it to an automotive locksmith or hardware store to have the key cut to match your existing key. If you take the remote with transponder chip from your old working remote and put it in to this new case - there is no programming needed. Feel free to include year make and model of your vehicle as well as the PN located on the back of your remote when placing the order. We can double check, to make sure to you ordered the correct replacement case. Aftermarket item. This case will fit 6-button remotes with:

Partially satisfied.
The quality of the product appears very good. It was not explained that if you have a chip key it will need to be programed separately from the remote. Your description said all you would need to do is move the body of the remote to the new case. It states that you have to have the blank key cut but there is no mention you may need to have the key programed.
