Indestructible replacement remote DURASHELL case for Toyota, Scion, Pontiac remotes with uncut key. Replacement plastic buttons and rubber pad, seal are included. No remote or transponder chip included (no electronic parts). If your key broke off, or the case is broken, you can simply replace your old case/key on your old remote. Just take the insides out (remote with transponder chip) and put them in this new shell. You then take it to an automotive locksmith or hardware store to have the key cut to match your existing key. If you take the remote with transponder chip from your old working remote and put it in to this new case - there is no programming needed. Aftermarket item made by GTL Global Tescpro. Good Toyota Case saved me money over dealer
Purchased this case to replace a Toyota key that fell apart. Digging the epoxyed in transponder out of the old key was not easy but once I did it fit nicely in this key and was recognized by my RAV4 as a good key. So much cheaper than the dealer ripoff prices and the key appears to be acceptable quality. Customer service girl was helpful and very polite on the phone when I ordered.
